Lennox leak Sensor- evaporator coil??

Not sure I’m very confident in my new Lennox evaporator as explained to me early in installation…. Sounds like the technology could shut down the system if there’s any minor leaks?? what would be the ‘parts per million’ at which the sensor would shut down my new system? Not sure I’m reassured by this Lennox development. It was explained to me if the evaporator has a leak, then expensive service call to check it out if the sensor is working and if it’s indicating what has happened correctly. If It can’t be fixed costing thousands of replacement cost to your customer! Also got the indication that normal moisture that sometimes forms around evaporator is maybe corrosive a Lennox built evaporator. Why is that so??
