I had my Lennox HVAC installed by a heating and air company 2020, which was five years ago. About a month and half ago the thermostat started giving problems saying it could not communicate with the main system. We called the company that sold us the system and they sent a technician to the house. We were told that we would need to get a new thermostat and it would cost us $1500, and conveniently the warranty expired last year. Came here and saw the warranty is good for 10 years, not sure what is going on, but I see no reason why something that is just five years needs to be changed. Since Friday we have been without air because the thermostat has stopped communicating with our system. I can’t see myself having to do this every five years it is unacceptable!!
